Gardenia Publicity is run by Chris Dean, who has 15 year’s experience in the music industry, working with global artists, brand-new grass roots acts and everything in between.
Passion for the music and understanding the needs of the artist come first with Gardenia Publicity and are at the forefront of each creative decision. No two campaigns are alike and being inventive, strategic and adaptive are crucial. Whether it’s communicating the narrative in a way that is effective or tailoring the overall vision to fit a desired plan. Chris began his career working for Duff Press, eventually becoming Head Of Online And Regional Promotions and working with as the likes of Slash, Kiss, Motorhead, Rush and Def Leppard, as well as working with emerging artists and established brands like Gibson Guitars.
At Wilful Publicity, he became Head Of Press, working on a diverse roster encompassing rock, country, folk, pop, indie, metal and more. Acts worked with include the likes of A Thousand Horses, Alice In Chains, Ayron Jones, Brent Cobb, Cheap Trick, Counting Crows, Crown Lands, Don Broco, Fantastic Negrito, Iron Maiden, Jerry Cantrell, Levellers, Marcus King, Ocean Alley, Sam Williams, The Cadillac Three, The Struts and more.
