Logan Ledger shares performance video for new single 'There Goes My Mind'

New Performance Video For Latest Single ‘There Goes My Mind’

New Album Golden State Out September 8 on Rounder Records Produced by Three-Time Grammy Winner Shooter Jennings

Today, rising singer and songwriter Logan Ledger shares a live performance video of his recently-released single ‘There Goes My Mind’, from his eagerly anticipated new album Golden State, which is coming out September 8 on Rounder Records. Watch the video HERE. The video, directed by Ledger’s frequent collaborator Bella Mazzola, was shot live in a studio in his adopted hometown of Nashville. Ledger was joined for the session by guitarist Misael Arriaga and longtime musical compatriots Dennis Crouch on bass and pedal steel guitarist Russ Pahl. “’There Goes My Mind’ may have been the first song that Logan sent me after our initial meeting and discussion about our dream record we wanted to make together,” recalls producer and multi-instrumentalist Jennings. “The song felt like something I would hear on a David Bowie album or a Pixies album.” He continues, “’There Goes My Mind’ immediately spoke to me. Like so many out there, my head has never been screwed on straight. I've never fit in society's pre-determined boxes and I often feel like I'm navigating a haze of primordial static trying to reach the faint light in the fragmented tunnel of life laid out before me. Logan has a knack of reaching down inside and pulling out the most complex, vulnerable emotions and then translating them into songs that feels simple and relatable. As a producer, I felt my job was to help him build the sonic soup in which this song would live. This was the first song we recorded at Sunset Sound and the band knocked it out of the park instantly... and with Logan's fantastic B-bender guitar playing topping it off, we knew we had a single for the record right off the bat.” Listen to the album version of ‘There Goes My Mind’ HERE, and pre-order Golden State HERE. Ledger recently wrapped up a series of sold-out dates as support for Vincent Neil Emerson. On July 25, he will open for Jenny Lewis at New Orleans’ storied music venue Tipitina’s . Upcoming festival appearances include Red Ants Pants, Pickathon, and BeachLife. A full list of confirmed shows is below. Ledger will announce further tour plans in the coming weeks.
